A crash involving two buses and a car caused traffic gridlock in Carmarthenshire. It happened on the A40 near the Cross Hands roundabout.
Dyfed-Powys Police has said that no injuries were reported in the accident that happened around 7.20am on Thursday. The carriageway was partially blocked for nearly three hours after the accident at the A4242 Pontlesneven roundabout.
People were reporting gridlock on surrounding roads. Traffic monitors showed that congestion was to before the Llanllwch turn-off and there were delays on St Clears Road and other routes into Carmarthen as traffic avoids the incident.
The road was fully re-opened at 10.17am after the vehicles involved were recovered from the scene.

A spokesman said:
Officers are at scene of a road traffic collision which occurred at about 7.20am this morning on the A40 eastbound lane approaching the Pontlesneven roundabout in Carmarthen.No injuries reported. Both lanes are currently closed for recovery of vehicles.

The Mid and West Fire Service has said that they were called t 7.26am to an incident hear the B&Q store at Cross Hands.
A statement said: "A road traffic collision had occurred involving two buses and one private motor vehicle. No injuries were reported and no action was required by the crew members. The Highways Department and Dyfed Powys Police were also in attendance."
