The 2023 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has kicked off and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson is currently battling creepy crawlies and disgusting trials in the jungle. Fellow This Morning co-star Alison Hammond has also taken part in the reality series and said she "really didn't enjoy myself" while on the show.

Speaking on This Morning Alison, who took part in I'm A Celebrity in 2010 and entered on the sixth day as a late entry, said she found the jungle tough. She credits entering the jungle late as the reason she did not enjoy her time there. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.

Talking on This Morning, Alison said: "I went in like halfway through, so everyone had established and I just really didn't enjoy myself, at all... if I went in from the beginning and bonded with everyone, but honestly I really didn't enjoy it. Everyone was bonded and I was like oh god I don't really like it here."

Alison also made a prediction for Josie, saying that Josie was the favourite to win the 2023 series of I'm A Celebrity. Overall Alison was the fourth celebrity to be voted out of the jungle in 2010, finishing in tenth place.

Former footballer turned TV star Jake Quickenden has revealed he almost quit the show on his first night in camp when he took part in 2014. Speaking on ITV1 morning show Lorraine, Jake revealed he struggled when he first entered the camp in Australia.

Jake said: "I almost left the first night. I was a bit overwhelmed and I feel like you never see the real people on the first night because everyone is so over the top and loving it. I remember just being next to Edwina Currie and her being fast asleep, snoring, spiders crawling around on the tent roof and I thought I've made a huge mistake here."
