Alun Wyn Jones' illustrious rugby career has finally come to an end, with the Wales stalwart hanging up his boots on Saturday for French club Toulon.
The 38-year-old was named as captain for the Top 14 outfit's clash with Clermont at Stade Marcel-Michelin in what was his last-ever rugby game. Professional to the end, Jones was filmed preparing for the match in typical dedicated fashion, leading his team-mates in training and delivering a rousing speech in the build-up to the match.
On Saturday he was given a standing ovation by Clermont and Toulon supporters as he left the field of play for the very last time. Funnily enough, with two minutes left on the lock, he was recalled to replace team-mate Marius Domon who had to leave the pitch.

With the curtain now down on a magical career that has yielded so much, Jones is planning for life after the game that has given him so much. So what lies on the horizon? Well, it seems Jones will dedicate more time to his family, business interests and new ventures.
"I'm going to enjoy Christmas and take time with my family," he said. "I have commercial interests with the Cardiff Distillery. They will help me enter the business world. I also hope to work with Swansea University where I obtained my law degree in 2010. This may open up prospects in marketing or management. I will have opportunities to try things.
"I don't know 100% what I want to do, I don't want to rush and realise I'm wasting my time. My priority is to spend time with family and help my wife more with raising our children, so there is work to be done!"
He also revealed that he has had approaches from the media.
"I've already had several requests but now it's too early," he added. "We'll see from January. I will certainly go to see the RCT European Cup matches and friends in Northampton (15/12) and Glasgow (19/01)."
A former British and Irish Lions captain, Jones represented Wales on 158 occasions
