With Black Friday deals all over the place it can be hard to not be dazzled by money-off items that you might not actually need. But if you are looking for a new way to watch TV, either at home or if you're travelling, then Amazon have 42% off the newest version of their Fire TV Stick.

It's the 4K version of the streaming device and it supports WiFi 6, Dolby Vision, and immersive Dolby Atmos audio. It also comes with an Alexa Voice remote so you can request your latest boxset without doing the pesky search boxes that take ages. Now £34.99 down from £59.99, it's a Black Friday saving of 42%.

Be mindful though that while the Fire TV Sticks do come with access to free streaming via Amazon Freevee, Twitch, and Pluto TV if you want access to streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+ and more, you must have a subscription with these services too.

Shoppers who have bought the Fire Stick say that it's "faster" than the old version and "value for money." It scored 4.5 out of five in reviews and one reviewer said: "Was a bit apprehensive about how easy it would be to set up. Pleasantly surprised with the ease of installation and impressed with the picture quality. Bought kit to hard wire in to router but not used yet as wi-fi mode seems spot on. Nice handset which l found easy to use as well. Well worth the money." Reviewers who weren't impressed were critical of the picture quality from the Fire Stick and another said it "just wasn't worth the money".
