Beaujolais Day 2023 best pictures: The outfits, glamour and fun as thousands party into the night in Swansea

The annual event was back with a bang!

It was quite a day - and night!

There's always high expectations for Beaujolais Day in Swansea - and this year, once more, the day certainly lived up to them! The event, which celebrates the first wine of the season from the Beaujolais region of France, has been marked in Swansea for more than 50 years, after the then-owner of No Sign wine bar on Swansea's Wind Street brought back a case of Beaujolais wine from France and launched an event at the bar.

Over time, more and more bars and restaurants have caught the Beaujolais Day bug, with bottomless brunches, cocktails, dinners, dancing and live music on the menu at venues across Swansea. This year, thousands of people headed to Wind Street to mark the day with loved ones, with hundreds more heading to venues in the SA1 marina area and at a handful of pubs and bars elsewhere in the city.

As always, we had a photographer on Wind Street capturing all the glitz, glamour and drama! Here's a collection of our best photos from Beaujolais Day on Swansea's Wind Street 2023 - and to recap our coverage, have a read of our Beaujolais Day 2023 full article here
