Beyoncé fans shared their excitement for the singer’s upcoming film of her iconic Renaissance tour, as a new trailer is released. The one-minute and 39-second video was shared onto X, formerly known as Twitter, by user Fandango.
The clip was then shared by Film Updates, attracting a number of people into the comments to share their thoughts. At the beginning of the clip, a hooded Beyoncé stands in a dark room with a light passing behind.
She can be heard saying: “I close my eyes and travel through realms of space and time. Reality holds no power or control of my state of mind on my voyage to find a source to charge my inner being. Assembly line frequency as I tap my MPC.”
Shots of stage lighting and a crowd standing in front of the stage with the word ‘Renaissance’ flashing up can be seen, before black and white footage of the singer on stage appeared. “In this world that is very male-dominated, I’ve had to be really tough,” Beyoncé can be heard saying. “To balance motherhood and being on the stage, it just reminds me of who I really am.”
Clips of Beyoncé’s performances, dancers and extensive outfit changes are then spliced together, before the singer addresses a crowd. One moment saw her address the audience, saying: “You are the visual, baby.”
Her voice then narrated: “It’s a new birth, I hope you feel liberated. But the renaissance is not over. The video has been viewed over 273,100 times, racking up 61 comments, 2,300 Retweets and a massive 8,500 likes, at the time of writing.
Fans couldn’t hide their excitement over the video, with Motshetshex writing: “The Energy she gives is unmatched...its giving cinematography...its giving goosebumps!!”
BaldacciInc said: “Beyoncé is the standard for female music! Because of the amount of attention to details she inputs in her craft, she constantly maintains her aesthetic over years till now, never slacking. This is good, I can’t wait to see the film.”
Karlsgroove commented, “Omg is that mother of the house of Renaissance?,” while beanieheadaj said, “FILM OF THE CENTURY.” K_KUKUMBA wrote: “I sob, whimp and cry for having not witnessed this experience.”
