Retailers and shops across the country are already sharing massive discounts for the deal concept known as 'Black Friday.' But when is the actual 'Black Friday' and will there be better deals on the day itself?
Stores like Boots, John Lewis and Currys are just some of the shops with Black Friday deals currently running, while online stores like Amazon, ASOS and Look Fantastic are running big discounts. And what used to be one day, then four, is now a whole-month event as retailers hope to attract bargain buyers for big pricetag items in tech, beauty, fashion, homewear and toys.
Black Friday is an annual shopping event that boasts huge savings and it started in America (it's also what some communities call the final working Friday before Christmas over here in the UK), marking the start of the Christmas shopping season. But when is it in 2023?

When is Black Friday 2023?
The annual autumn shopping date is always the final Friday of November which is also the day after Thanksgiving in the USA.
This year it will take place on Friday, November 24. It traditionally ends on Cyber Monday. But, as we see this year, many retailers have launched their Black Friday deals from November 1.
Amazon has just this week released their Black Friday schedule. Their discounts will all kick off at 12:01am on November 17 and last until 11:59pm on November 27, when the deals will then be replaced by Cyber Monday discounts. Click here for more.
