Cardiff Bus has announced that some services will be diverted on Halloween and Bonfire nights in a bid to keep passengers safe. Buses will be diverted around several areas of Cardiff to avoid trouble spots.
The company said that from 5pm on Tuesday, October 31, and Sunday, November 5, "some of our buses will divert for the safety of our customers and staff." There will be changes to routes in Splott, Ely, Llanrumney and Trowbridge.
In the past, the two nights have seen attacks on buses and police have travelled on some routes in the run up to Halloween and Bonfire Night to deter anti-social behaviour.
