The arrival of Cardiff Christmas Market always signals the start of Christmas in the Welsh capital. From rows and rows of stalls selling amazing homemade crafts from talented craftspeople to a huge range of food - including options at the German Christmas Market which runs alongside it - you will be spoilt for choice.

When is the Cardiff Christmas Market 2023 open?
Cardiff Christmas Market will be open every day from Thursday, November 9 to Saturday, December 23. From Mondays to Saturdays the market will be open from 10am to 6pm and will be open from 10am to 5pm on Sundays.
Is there food at Cardiff Christmas Market?
Yes! There is so much great food to enjoy at Cardiff Christmas Market. The food stalls appearing at the Christmas Market are listed below with all of the other stalls, and then right next door to the market is the German Christmas Market, including the staple centre piece which is the bar.
The Cardiff Christmas Bar is selling all the classics like mulled wine, beer, hot chocolate and much more. It is the place to grab a drink at the Christmas market.
The Pancake House is selling amazing crepes and pancakes, including Nutella, lemon and sugar and Kinder Bueno - yum! The Baiser Barl Buche is selling a big range of food including burgers, Frankfurters, Currywurst, garlic mushrooms and chips.
If you are looking for more German sausages, Krakauer, Bratwurst, Currywurst and Kasekrainer, head to the huge circular stall at the end. There is also the Cardiff Christmas Carvery serving the Christmas classics like roast potatoes, roast turkey and roast beef rolls or baguettes and giant Yorkshire pudding wraps.
