A 33-year-old man has been assaulted in a "stabbing" incident in Cardiff. South Wales Police confirmed they were called to the scene shortly after 8.10pm on Wednesday evening following reports of a stabbing incident in the Splott area.
The victim was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, where he was treated for his injuries. A spokesperson for the force said that their investigation is ongoing. Photos show that police officers are still at the scene on South Luton Place on Thursday morning.
In a statement shared on Thursday morning, South Wales Police spokesperson said: "South Wales Police is investigating an assault upon a 33-year-old man from the Splott area of Cardiff. Police were called shortly after 8.10pm last night following reports of a stabbing incident.
