Former England rugby star, Danny Cipriani, has broken his silence following the news he's reportedly pulled out of I'm A Celebrity just days before the show starts on ITV this Sunday, November 19. The sharp exit comes after the sportsman split from wife, Victoria Rose.

Cipriani, 36, who was married to Victoria 42, for four years, shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story telling fans to always "follow your heart." The full quote shared, read: "Here's one thing I've always known, even when it was buried among the rubble of my mind - it's better to follow your heart and be true to yourself than play by other people's rules.

"You might not be accepted by everyone but the rewards, when they finally come, will be so much sweeter than any trophy."

The couple got married in April 2021 but their relationship has reportedly hit the rocks after he made a number of revelations in his autobiography, released earlier this year. In the book, he claimed at one stage of his career he was sleeping with three women a day, from "porn stars to actresses to girls I met at the coffee shop".

A source close to the couple told MailOnline: 'Victoria knew dating a high-profile sportsman would mean an unwanted focus on their relationship. However, some of the stories in Danny's book, especially regarding his sex life with past lovers, were pretty hard to absorb when written down in black and white for everyone to see. The marriage was never the same afterwards."

Victoria Rose has said on her social media that she was taking a break from the medium before thanking those who had messaged her.

Among those heading into the jungle when the new series starts on Sunday, November 19, are Nigel Farage, Jamie Lynn Spears, Josie Gibson, and Marvin Humes.

Also taking part are EastEnders actor Danielle Harold, Hollyoaks icon Nick Pickard, YouTuber Nella Rose, and food critic Grace Dent. The new cast of celebrities will leave their plush pads and luxuries far behind as they spend up to three weeks taking on the Australian jungle with a whole host of surprises created just for them.

The new series of I'm A Celebrity is set to kick off on Sunday, November 19, at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. For more showbiz and television stories, get our newsletter here.
