Gogglebox favourites Dave and Shirley Griffiths are celebrating a very special occasion. The Caerphilly-based stars, who joined the Channel 4 show in 2015, have taken to Instagram to mark their wedding anniversary.
The Welsh duo are firm favourites on the long-standing series, which sees a cast of armchair critics react to the best television of the week, thanks to their brilliant sense of humour. Outside of the programme, Dave and Shirley keep their fans updated on their joint social media pages with holiday snaps, pictures of their pet pooches and the occasional throwback.
In their latest post, Dave sent a message to his "lovely wife" as they celebrated 47 years of marriage. Alongside a sweet caption where he joked that Shirley deserved a medal, Dave posted a picture of the pair poolside.
