I’m a Celebrity fans will be in for a shock when they see the latest odds on who is going to win. Out of sight favourite had been This Morning presenter Josie Gibson with many viewers already calling her to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

However, bookies have reported taking a huge number of bets on Danielle Harold in the wake of the opening show - shooting her into the favourite spot. Clearly Danielle was doing something right as people piled on.

33-year-old Harold has been receiving support to win from I’m A Celebrity bettors and bookmakers alike as the popular TV show got underway last night. After the show finished late on Sunday, bookmakers cut the former EastEnders star’s odds to win the competition from 8/1 to the 3/1 favourite.

One-fifth (21.2%) of all bets placed through Oddschecker over the past 12 hours have been on Harold to be crowned Queen of the Jungle. Sam Thompson and Josie Gibson are also receiving early support in the betting markets, taking 15.4% and 14.1% of total bets respectively.

Oddschecker’s Leon Blackman said: “After Episode 1 of ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here,’ Danielle Harold has garnered the attention of both bookmakers and bettors. Initially considered an outsider at 8/1, Harold is now the favourite to win the show at 3/1, according to bookies after Sunday’s opener. Despite it being early days, this significant shift in odds is noteworthy, especially since many of the other contestants have maintained their pre-Sunday prices.”

On X fans were backing Josie, with Ross Kiernan saying: “This is why Josie is going to win #imaceleb she’s not afraid to say what she thinks #ThisMorning. Tellylassie added: “Josie for the win! No screaming just got stuck right in! #ImACeleb.”

Kirsty got her crystal ball out and said: “Sam, Josie & Fred will be the final 3 on #ImACeleb & Josie will win watch this space!”

Farage, Rose and Gibson got a surprise when they arrived in the Australian Outback, rather than the jungle. Dressed in green chinos and a pink shirt, Farage and his two colleagues had to complete tasks to win time for campmates taking part in other challenges on the Gold Coast, in a bid to win stars and food.

In Monday’s episode, Farage and YouTuber Nella Rose will face a bushtucker eating trial, called the Jungle Pizzeria, following a public vote.
