Restaurant critic Grace Dent is one of the celebrities featuring on ITV reality series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! this year. The 50-year-old, who has previously appeared on MasterChef, joins the likes of ex-politician Nigel Farage, This Morning star Josie Gibson and Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson.

Ahead of jetting off to Australia Grace waved goodbye to her boyfriend, whom she hasn’t revealed too many details about. Whilst she hasn’t gone into too much detail about her relationship the columnist and broadcaster has confirmed that her lover is called Charles.

During an appearance on Kate Thornton's White Wine Question Time, Grace gushed over her boyfriend and said: "With my man, Charles, I think almost every day whenever I look at him 'How did I pull this off?'

Grace continued during the podcast appearance: "Because before we got together, I used to follow him on Instagram, and he followed me and there was at least 24 months where I used to just look at his photo and go 'He's so pretty'.

"It was very gradual because we followed each other because we knew people in common. I was in Liverpool working, and I was feeling really, really miserable, and then I just got this little message from him saying that he would like to take me for a coffee."
