P!nk to kick off new tour in Cardiff

Singer P!nk has announced a huge 2024 show in Cardiff. The star announced on Tuesday that she is kicking off her flamboyant Summer Carnival tour at the Principality Stadium.

It means that she will be returning to the Welsh capital almost five years since her last visit when she preformed her Beautiful Trauma show to five-star reviews. Dates and tickets details are here.

Congestion points on M4, A470 and A465

Busy morning already on the roads. Here are the congestion points:

  • M4 eastbound junction 28 Tredegar Park to junction 26 Malpas.
  • A470 southbound Nantgarw - Coryton.

Plans to change school summer holidays

School year dates in Wales will change as early as October 2025 with the summer holidays being shortened to either five or four weeks, under plans proposed by the Welsh Government.

Changes to the school year have been discussed for the last few years and now two options are being put out for consultation - to cut the break to five weeks and possibly to four. Read more detail here.

Urgent search for missing four

Four young men have been reported missing and police are appealing for the public's help in finding them.

The four, from the Gwynedd area, are believed to be together. More details here.

Rather cloudy for many at first with isolated light showers. Turning generally dry and bright with sunny periods, albeit these turning increasingly hazy later. Still breezy but winds easing later. Maximum temperature 11 °C

A dry evening with clear periods and staying generally dry overnight. Skies clouding over somewhat through the early hours and turning breezier by the morning. Chillier than last night. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
