This year's Married At First Sight experiment finally came to a close on Tuesday night (November 14), as the last remaining couples decided to either ‘stay’ or ‘leave’ in a gut-wrenching episode. Three couples - Peggy and Georges, Tasha and Paul, and Adrienne and Matt - vowed to commit to their relationships on the outside, while Ella and JJ tearfully went their separate ways.

At the end of the programme, viewers got a sneak peak of the reunion dinner, where tensions ran high between a number of couples, leading to an explosive walkout by one of the brides. While all contestants are expected to come together, former star Nathaniel Valentino has seemingly confirmed his absence from the reunion.

In a series of questions shared via Nathaniel’s Instagram Story where his fans could ‘ask him anything’, the star hit out at the show and appeared to confirm whether or not he’d be making a return. Asking anonymously, one of his followers questioned: “Did you attend the MAFS reunion date?” Nathaniel simply replied: “I couldn’t imagine anything worse.”

Photos of his time on the show and of his fellow castmates have been notably absent from his Instagram account. Viewers will remember his dramatic exit from the experiment after finding out wife Ella Morgan had been texting fellow groom JJ Slater behind his back.

It all came to a head at one of the show’s infamous dinner parties, where Nathaniel confronted the situation in front of the group, including JJ’s wife Bianca Petronzi. Nathaniel revealed their antics to the rest of the couples about the pair texting behind their partners’ back, catching Bianca off-guard. Bianca then put her husband and the fellow bride in their places, calling them “liars”.

Bianca was having none of JJ's apology, and tore a strip off the pair: "You are not sorry. I'm just a try? I am not your f****** second option, your sorry doesn't f****** cut it! I just think you are a f****** idiot...I don't know how you can both stand there, and you walked in with smirks on your faces like this is a funny situation! You've been disrespectful, you've hurt people's feelings and you are not sorry."

Earlier this week, castmate Laura Vaughan also urged her social media followers to ask her anything. While she was close to Nathaniel on the show, and was visibly upset when he left, she revealed the pair were no longer talking to each other.
