Morrisons has recalled a popular cereal warning it could be dangerous for some people to eat. It says its free from gluten choco crackles contain a number of items which are not stated on the label.
The store said it could contain hazelnut, milk and gluten-free oats. All three items can pose a risk to those with allergies to them.
In its recall notice, it said: "This means the product presents a risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to hazelnut, milk and oats. Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don’t need receipt.
"No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety."
The affected product is 300g. It has a best-before date of September 18, 2024.
In a recall notice, the Food Standards Agency said: "This product contains hazelnuts (nuts), milk, and oats (that are gluten-free) making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to hazelnuts (nuts), an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, and/or an allergy to oats (that are gluten-free).
"If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to hazelnuts (nuts), an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, and/or an allergy to oats (that are gluten-free), do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."
