Hollyoaks legend Nick Pickard is part of the celebrity line-up for this year's I'm a Celebrity on ITV. The Tony Hutchinson star has taken a break from the Channel 4 soap to participate in the new series, which also sees Nigel Farage, a man who tried and failed to become an MP seven times, food critic Grace Dent and actress and Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn, amongst others take part.

Pickard is best known for his role in Hollyoaks and has been in the soap since it started in 1995. But did you know he had a brother, John, who starred in a huge prime time comedy in the 1990s, as well as alongside Nick in Hollyoaks?

The London-born brothers both studied at the Sylvia Young Theatre School before John scored a part in Grange Hill as Neil Timpson. In 1991 he joined the cast of 2point4 Children with Belinda Lang and Gary Olsen. The BBC sitcom ran for eight years before ending in 1999 and is often remembered for its Christmas episode musical numbers.

Nick, meanwhile, has remained as Tony in Hollyoaks a role which one him the British Soap Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2017. According to both their Instagrams, Nick is in a relationship with Sarah Corrin.

The soap star, who's also been in EastEnders, has said of taking part in I'm a Celebrity: "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and as soon as I was approached, I said 'yes'. I am not quitting Hollyoaks to take part. My bosses have been really supportive of me doing it. Now it is getting near to going into camp, I am so excited."
