When you find a pair of trousers that suit not only your casual home life, but are appropriate for work and also parties, you need to hold onto them for dear life and maybe get a number of different colours. Especially when they come in at less than £10 on Amazon in the shopping site's massive Black Friday event.
Roman Originals Work Trousers for Women are 'stretch' suit cigarette trousers that have an elasticated waistband and taper in at the ankle. And while these smart casual pants usually cost £26, Amazon has slashed the price to £9.60 for a number of its colours if the sizing you're needing is petite. For a regular length, it's a smidge more expensive at £12.80.
Made with polyester and elastane, these pencil trousers sit high on the waist, thanks to its high rise waistband, and create a flattering silhouette - so much so, the trousers have received high praise from shoppers and have amassed over 1,000 five star reviews with a large proportion stating how well they fit.

Commenting on the fit around the thigh and hip area, one Roman Originals shopper remarked: "Fit perfectly without the usual 'bagging' on the hips and thighs. Love these and have ordered some more. Best trousers I have ever had. Thank you Roman."
While another stated: "Thank you Roman! Fit perfect, size chart accurate! Quality excellent and modern styling. Delivered beautifully wrapped and a pleasure to open and realise that I can end my endless search for decent trouser! Highly recommend! Happy days!"
A third added: "Love these trousers. Very comfy and stretchy. Nice side pockets. Perfect length. Will order another pair definitely. Great for work."
"I bought another 2 pairs for my work, and other girls bought them after my recommendation. Comfy fit. Excellent quality. No need to iron," said another.
While the majority of reviewers adored these trousers, some shoppers were disappointed in the quality of the trousers and said that, although "comfortable and good looking" after a few uses "it was full of lint". Other commented on the sizing, stating how it was "very small".
The marketed workwear trousers come in five different fits - long, regular, short, plus and petite - and are completed with deep pockets, an elasticated waistband and finished with 'wrinkle free' fabric. For a more casual look, pair the trousers with trainers and a band tee or cosy chunky knit or heels and a sheer or satin shirt for an outfit that can transport you from the office to the bar in seconds.
However, if this particular make hasn't quite taken your fancy, a vast number of shops the high street stock this style of trouser. For example, Marks & Spencer's slim fit ankle grazing trousers, £22.50, are high in demand (having been sold over 100 times in the last day or so) and come in black, navy and charcoal grey. They've been praised for being "well made, easy to wear trousers!" and "Very comfortable!"
Next's selection is also pretty good and it's even added some shapewear components to its tapered slim trousers (£34) as they have been "designed with internal mesh panels for firm support, with an elasticated waistband for all-day comfort". H&M is always a good bet when it comes to clothes that work for the office and for the pub - and these cigrarette trousers that come in a whole host of colours (and even a floral pattern) are a really steal at £17.99.
