Party-starting, heart-stirring musical icon P!nk has announced she will be returning to Cardiff in summer 2024.
For the first time in five years, the city can look forward to singing and dancing along with P!nk as she graces the stage at Principality Stadium on June 11, 2024.
The Cardiff show comes as part of an extension to P!nk’s successful Summer Carnival tour, which has seen a huge demand for tickets thanks to her generation-spanning appeal, loyal fan base, and back catalogue.
Summer Carnival tour 2024
Following her sell-out run of stadium shows earlier this year, P!nk has confirmed she will perform in the UK on seven extra dates in 2024 at four lucky venues, on a second European leg of her global Summer Carnival tour.
Alongside the date in Cardiff, she will be singing songs with her fans in Glasgow, Liverpool and London before taking her memory-making, gravity-defying show to mainland Europe, which will close in Stockholm on July 25, 2024.
Get the party started
After five years, P!nk is coming back to Cardiff. The city last saw P!nk on stage in 2019, during her highly acclaimed Beautiful Trauma world tour, which saw nearly 60,000 people enjoy the show on one glorious night.
And after having such a great time, she’s coming back for more.
Special guests The Script, Gayle and KidCutUp will once again share a stage with P!nk in June 2024, after supporting her during the 2023 leg of the tour.
Irish rockers The Script have an astonishing list of achievements from the last 14 years, including six UK number one albums and 30 million single sales.
Nineteen-year-old singer-songwriter GAYLE catapulted into the spotlight in 2021 with the hugely infectious viral hit track ‘abcdefu’. The double-platinum anthem propelled the Nashville-based artist to such milestones as earning her first-ever Grammy Award nomination, two MTV VMA nominations, and becoming a Billboard Music Awards finalist.
The upcoming shows will also feature DJ and producer KidCutUp, who has played everywhere from nightclubs to music festivals all over the world, and will already be well-known to P!nk fans as he was a special guest on both her Beautiful Trauma and Summer Carnival world tours.
Trustfall
Last month, P!nk released her new single, ‘Dreaming’, which includes an exciting collaboration with Marshmello and British musical icon, Sting. The new single will be featured on a special Tour Deluxe Edition of her ninth studio album, Trustfall, set for release on December 1, 2023.
The special edition includes six live recordings from the Summer Carnival tour, including fan favourites such as ‘What About Us’, ‘When I Get There’, and ‘Cover Me in Sunshine’ which features guest vocals by her daughter Willow Sage Hart, as well as covers of Sade’s ‘No Ordinary Love’ and Sinead O’Connor’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ with Brandi Carlile.
A roaring success
The 2023 Summer Carnival tour has achieved both critical and commercial success, described by the Manchester Evening News as ‘a high-energy, acrobatic spectacle’.
P!nk herself said: “We’re gonna tour until the wheels come off!”
To date, the Summer Carnival tour has seen over one million fans attend 21 sold-out shows across seven countries - and helped create lifelong memories that only those who have seen P!nk perform live can truly understand.
The tour has been jam-packed with vibrant visuals, breathtaking aerials, heart-pumping dance routines, beautiful vocal harmonies, plus surprise guests - with Alanis Morissette and Pat Benatar appearing on stage with P!nk at her LA show in October.
And all of it serves as further confirmation of P!nk’s well-deserved reputation as one of the most impressive live performers of our time.
Don’t miss your chance to experience a special night in Cardiff - it’ll be one to remember forever.
Tickets for P!nk go on sale via Ticketmaster from 10am on Thursday, November 30, 2023. You can register for presale here before 11.59pm on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
