A battle broke out at a Wacky Warehouse when two mums fell out and got into a blistering argument. Police were called when one mother asked the other to ‘control your child’.

This did not go down well and one witness told BristolLive that ‘it was horrible to see - especially in front of young children’. The incident happened at the Bridge pub’s Wacky Warehouse soft play, in Yatton, and officers were eventually called, BristolLive reported.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed they attended an incident at the venue shortly after 2.45pm on Thursday, October 26. No arrests were made after both parents decided not to press charges. A witness said: “There was a massive argument and the police had to be called after a mother asked a woman to control her child.

“She had quite a young toddler and this older child kept barging them over. When she asked the child’s mother to control her child all hell let loose. The police had to be called and the soft play was shut. It was horrible to see - especially in front of loads of young children.”

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to The Bridge Inn in Yatton shortly after 2.45pm on Thursday 26 October to a report of a confrontation between two women.

“CCTV enquiries were carried out and it was agreed, in consultation with both parties, not to progress the incident.”

Bristol Live contacted Wacky Warehouse but staff did not want to comment.
