TNT Sports presenter Orla Chennaoui almost got completely wiped out by former England star Mike Brown on live TV.

Chennaoui, Ugo Monye and Stuart Hogg were covering the opening game of the Gallagher Premiership season on Friday night, where Bristol Bears hosted Leicester Tigers at Ashton Gate Stadium.

The broadcaster trio were standing on the pitch ahead of kick-off, with the Premiership trophy poised neatly beside them on the turf. However, things went slightly pear-shaped when a Tigers player sent a high ball destined for Chennaoui.

Sensing the danger during his analysis of the World Cup knock-out matches, Monye exclaimed: "Orla!", as he shielded her from a charging Brown. The former Harlequins man was trying to catch the ball before it hit the presenter and he did so expertly.

Chennaoui found it hilarious as Monye backed away in shock, before Hogg assured the presenters: "We've got the safest hands in World Rugby, we're alright!"

As the trio calmed down, Monye screamed "Orla!" again just to catch her off-guard.

The game ended 25-14 to the Bears, with their home fans being treated to a cameo appearance from new signing and former France international star Virimi Vakatawa, who signed for the West Country club last month.
