Plans for a new drive-through coffee shop near the village of Llandarcy have been submitted to Neath Port Talbot Council. While it is not named in the application submitted to the local planning authority, documents suggest the site could be opened by popular coffee chain Starbucks.

If approved by council bosses, the development would comprise of a one-storey drive-through coffee shop, along with an EV charging station, landscaping and signs. Plans also show a total of 25 car parking spaces would be provided adjacent to the drive-through coffee shop, which includes two accessible spaces for the use of disabled people and 16 EV charging spaces.
