Club begin Ralls contract talks
Cardiff have entered talks with captain Joe Ralls over the possibility of extending his contract.
The Bluebirds skipper, who joined the club 12 years ago, signed a two-year deal in the summer of 2022, meaning his current contract expires next June. City have handed out a spate of contracts to a number of senior players so far this season, with Jamilu Collins appearing to be next on the agenda.
However, Ralls' future is also the subject of discussion behind the scenes, it seems. And Bulut is positive about the way those talks are progressing.
Asked about a potential new deal for Ralls, Bulut said: "We are doing good movements for it. Our guys are working on it."

Bulut's own future
While Bulut has been proactive regarding players' contracts, there seems to be less of a hurry for him to sort out his own future in the Welsh capital.
City fans would have to reach far back in their memory archives for the last time a manager was poached by a bigger club, but seeing as though the Turkish boss has made such a barnstorming start to life in Wales, supporters could be forgiven for growing a little concerned about the length of the manager's deal.
As we understand it, Bulut signed an initial contract until the end of the season, however, there is a clause which allows the club to trigger another two seasons. Speaking about his contract, he said: "I try to fix the players' contracts first. My thing is in the hands of the chairman and Vincent Tan. Until now, we didn't talk about it. I am just focussing on doing a good job here and my own work.
"But, of course, also for the club it is important. And for me, to plan something for the future, for training camps and things like this for the new season. Everything is important, but until now we haven't had any meeting about that."
Injury update
Bulut expects Aaron Ramsey and Callum O'Dowda to be out until the middle of December.
Wales boss Rob Page said Ramsey was pushing to be included in next week's Wales camp before he suffered a setback and will now be out for slightly longer than planned. Corroborating Page's summary, Bulut said: "How I know, he was doing quite well and then he got a small pain when he was training, on his tendon. Right now he is resting.
"I think we have to see after this one week of resting. I think his comeback will not change. In my opinion it will be soon. No operation is needed for sure. That’s why the medical department said he has to take a week’s rest and then he will start training.
"It will take eight to 12 weeks, from when he was injured, now with this one week or 10 days extra, it takes it to 10 to 12 weeks, maybe."
Asked about O'Dowda, Bulut said: "He will be the same, maybe the middle or the end of December."
Perry up for gong
Bluebirds defender Perry Ng has been nominated for October's Championship Player of the Month award.
The EFL judging panel wrote in their nominations brief: "Having reverted to his natural right-back position this season, Ng made vital interventions at both ends of the pitch with goal-saving blocks against Huddersfield and Bristol City in addition to two goals, including a superb free-kick at Huddersfield."
There is no doubt Ng has been one of the standout performers across the campaign for Cardiff and is even the highest-rated right back in the division according to stats side WhoScored.
Ng is up against Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall of Leicester City, Vaclav Hladky of Ipswich Town and Leeds United's Crysencio Summerville. The winner will be announced tomorrow morning.
