Acquired by Andrew and Lorna Edwards in June 2021, the Ty'r Winch has undergone an impressive refurbishment as well as incorporated an all-new guest house, earning it an average score of 4.7 stars on Google Reviews and 5-star hygiene rating two years in a row.

Taking on the pub in the midst of the pandemic might have seemed risky to many, but Andrew and Lorna were able to keep on the existing staff and as well as bring in a senior team for managerial roles. With the addition of the guest house, Ty'r Winch has created 28 jobs for the local community and continues to welcome locals and tourists alike.

Having two little boys of their own, Andrew and Lorna see the gastro-pub as an extension of their family, with staff members happy to chip in during the restoration. In fact, Andrew estimates that 80% of the building work done in the hotel and pub was undertaken by himself, Lorna, and the enthusiastic staff members who kindly offered their time.

Whether you're planning a winter getaway or visiting family over the Christmas period, the luxurious guest house promises a snug and restful stay. The converted building sits on the pub site and is home to eight en suite rooms including a family room, making it the perfect spot if you're attending one of the fun events hosted at the pub.
