Police are investigating the unexplained death of a 42-year-old woman from Swansea. Rebekah Williams, from Bonymaen, was found dead at her home address in Myrddin Road by officers just before 8.50pm on Thursday, November 2.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with her death and enquiries are ongoing. South Wales Police is appealing to anyone with information to contact it.

A spokesperson for the force said Rebekah’s family had been informed and were being supported by specialist officers. Detective Chief Inspector Matt Davies, from South Wales Police, said: “Our thoughts are with Rebekah’s family and friends at this time. There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area as we progress our investigation to establish the exact circumstances of her death.

“We would urge anyone who was in the area of Myrddin Road on Thursday, between 8am to 9pm, and who have not yet spoken with officers, to please come forward. It is vital that we establish what happened, so I am appealing to anyone with information to please contact us.”
