Wrexham will welcome MK Dons to the Racecourse when they return to the Football League in August.
The Red Dragons were promoted to League Two for the first time in 15 years back in April, sealing the National League title with a 3-1 win over Boreham Wood and finishing the season on a staggering 111 points after a thrilling title race with rivals Notts County.
Owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney treated the squad to a lavish all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas to celebrate their title win but the players have just about shaken off their hangovers as preparations for next season begin.
With ex-England goalkeeper Ben Foster and FA Cup Golden Ball winner Paul Mullin among their ranks, they have been tipped by the bookies to secure back-to-back promotions and be crowned League Two champions come next spring.
Phil Parkinson's men start with three home games in their first five, something the manager is delighted about.
"Very much so (happy to be at home). That's what we wanted, a home game to celebrate our return to the EFL
"You can't ask for any more, great fixture. It's one we'll really look forward to.
"We've got to be happy that three of the first five are at home, we had a decent record at the Racecourse last year and our aim is to reproduce that."
Newport, meanwhile, face a trip to Accrington Stanley on the opening day of the campaign (August 5).

Full story
OK then, here we go!
Wrexham start their 2023/24 League Two season hosting MK Dons at the Racecourse, while Newport County face a trip to Accrington Stanley on the opening day of the campaign (August 5).
The north Wales club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are back in the fourth tier of English football after a 15-year absence, edging a classic battle with Notts County last term. Both clubs achieved more than 100 points across the course of the season and it was the Red Dragons who clinched the title ahead of their rivals.
The Magpies managed to achieve promotion via the play-offs in dramatic fashion and the two teams will lock horns again next term and will face each other in October and February.
15-minute warning
Not long to go now.
Wrexham and Newport County will learn their 2023/24 schedules in 15 minutes.
Parky wants home game
Reds boss Phil Parkinson says he hopes it's a home game first up for his charges.
A packed-out Reaccourse would be some sight.
"Obviously you have got to play every team twice so I haven't got much preference in which team we would like first," said the Reds' boss to the Leader.
"But ideally, on the wish list is a home game.
"That is purely because with the club getting back into the Football League for the first time in 15 years, it is almost like a special occasion and it would be nice to celebrate that with our supporters at home."
League Two odds
Wrexham are the bookies' favourites to win the League Two title in 2023/24 following their return to the Football League.
The Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned side have been tipped to win their second successive promotion next season, with bookmakers offering odds of 7/2 for them to go all the way and be crowned champions, ahead of sides who were playing two leagues above them just weeks ago.
