Patrizia Khadija Dal Monte
Patrizia Khadija Dal Monte was born in Bassano del Grappa (VI) in 1955. A Muslim since 1990, she obtained a Masters in Religious Sciences at the Theological Institute of Assisi, affiliated to the Lateran University (Rome), in 1989. She currently freelance with the publishing house Al-Hikma, is a member of Magliis Shura UCOII as well as being the deputy director of the website islam-online. Patrizia has written a biography of her life, Story of a Muslim woman from Venise, and is the author of the forthcoming book, Those who believe in the Invisible. She has translated Fatima Naseef’s work, Women at the light of Islam as well as Asma Lamrabet’s The Qur’an and women. Patrizia continues to write as well as translate Islamic texts and often participates in debates and conferences on reality of Islam.
