Hussain Shefaar is the Chairman of Faith Inspire, a community organisation based in London. He is a graduate of Law with Political Studies and has a Masters in Education. He is a member of the East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre. He is active in the educational field and parenting, being a governor at two schools and involved with Jibreel Institute and Saturday Islamic School.

He has been a member of the European Muslim Network since its inception.
