Online event: Srebrenica genocide – 25th anniversary commemoration

Remembering the victims of genocide 25 years on, the single greatest atrocity in Europe since the Second World War.

Join the commemoration and witness moving speeches, spokenword poetry, reflections, prayers and discussions. The on-line event is organised by London Muslim Centre and Bosnia Heritage Foundation.

Sehija Dedovic, a member of Board of Trustees of European Muslim Network and also a Founder and President of NAHLA Centre for Education and Research from Bosnia and Herzegovina will give her presentation on the panel.

Beside Mrs. Dedovic speakers at the panel also will be: Hasan Nuhanovic (Genocide survivor, former UN interpreter during the war; Author, The Last Refuge – A True Story of War, Survival and Life Under Siege in SrebrenicaVanja Filipović (Bosnian Ambassador to the UK). Yasmin Qureshi MP (Shadow International Development Minister; Chair of Srebrenica APPG since 2010) Kathryne Bomberger (Director-General, International Commission for Missing Persons, The Hague), Muhammad Habibur-Rahman (Chairman, East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre).

The moderator of the event will be Dr. Abdullah Faliq Co-Founder of Bosnia Heritage Foundation.
