A cyclist died at the scene after being hit by a van in Margam. Emergency services were called to the scene on Water Street shortly after 11.15am on Saturday (October 14).
Police said that "despite the best efforts" of paramedics and an air ambulance team, a 76-year-old cyclist from Porthcawl died at the scene. They are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to get in touch.
South Wales Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner in which the white Ford Transit or the cyclist were travelling prior to the collision or from anyone with dash-cam or other video footage.
